Where Words Fail, Music Speaks
Popera was a Show Chorus under the Nevada Opera Company during the last two years that NVO was active. When NVO went dark the singers wanted to keep performing so Sierra Music Society was formed and on November 7, 2014 it received its 501(c)3 status as a nonprofit company.
This vocally-driven performing arts company is comprised of men and women offering an eclectic mix of music to delight audiences of all ages. The various music stylings include Light Opera, Broadway, Jazz, Grand Opera, and Contemporary. Members are required to audition to join the group and auditions are held regularly.

P’Opera! Performs dinner/theatre shows at Napa-Sonoma South restaurant. Shows are themed and suitable for all ages. They also perform an annual holiday concert.
